The Commercial Leasing Manager plays a pivotal role in driving transaction revenue through strategic commercial leasing activities. This role requires developing, maintaining, and enhancing client relationships while leveraging expertise in real estate market dynamics, including demand, supply, absorption, and vacancy rates.
Key Responsibilities
Achieving Team Targets
- Oversee and ensure the achievement of team targets, profitability, and the sustained growth of the service line.
Business Development
- Build a robust pipeline of prospective clients in need of office space through proactive business development programs.
Account Management
- Utilize account management expertise to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
Client Engagement
- Present property terms and conditions, conduct inspections, and negotiate agreements to successfully close leasing or purchase transactions.
Contractual Management
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including payments and timely handover of leased spaces.
Budgeting and Planning
- Develop and implement annual business plans and budgets aligned with team goals.
Team Development
- Mentor junior team members, fostering professional growth and enhancing their capabilities.
Cross-Selling Opportunities
- Leverage client interactions to promote and cross-sell additional services offered by the organization.
Efficiency in Systems and Processes
- Establish and maintain efficient systems and processes for internal and client-facing operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven leadership experience in the real estate sector or equivalent demonstrated leadership traits.
- In-depth understanding of real estate market dynamics, including demand, supply, and vacancy trends.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects efficiently.
- Expertise in business development and client relationship management.
- Knowledge of contractual agreements and the legal framework of property transactions.
- Strategic thinking and effective execution of plans.
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Relevant certifications or licenses in real estate management or leasing are an advantage.
